    (T-Mobile) BlackBerry without plan?

Hello, I currently have my talk plan, text message plan, and my BlackBerry data plan. The thing is, I don't ever use the internet/e-mail, so I'm thinking of dropping it on the phone.

The T-Mobile guy said I can drop just that service, but the phone would "screw up". Must I keep the blackberry plan on the phone to work properly? (phone & text)

    Thank you.

Not correct. Your 8100 will work fine as a phone and for text messages. You can continue to use your address book, calendar, etc and sync with your desktop. You can even use Oz Messenger to chat on AIM, MSN, or Y! Messenger freinds (uses SMS). You will simply loose Internet, BB Messenger, and email.

I used my Pearl as an MP3 player, calculator and organizer and for playing games and texting for 5 months.

Make sure when you drop the plan that they put the BB Voice Add-on Feature code back on it so that your MMS will continue to work and I believe you should still be able to access T-Zones.

Good catch Zo. Actually I think you need what TMO calls that the "Blackberry Feature Enabler" (free). This will also push the OZ messenger to your device.

Couldn't remember the actual name of the feature code, thanks for supplying that Gary. It will make it much easier on him when he does talk to customer care.

His lying, of course it will work. For me, personally, I need my data.. it's just too boring without it.
