It seems a little slower, but the benefits far outweigh the negatives! I can handle it because I pull the battery less, calls pick up with no delay, and it seems more solid! I am keeping it for now. Have to see what happens with the new realease.

I say the same thing. I upgraded to 101 and than to 103 and it is working great, I have not had one single problem with the upgrade. Yes it is slow at first but just remove the battery about two or three times and that's all very fast speed. I like this update a lot!

Thumbs up Re: T-Mo has now pulled OS .103!

.101 worked great for me, upgraded to .103 and didnt really notice anything different good or bad. I will keep .103 until something new comes along. I sometimes wonder if there are conflicts with 3rd party installed software which makes some peoples phones react negatively?

103 is working great for me, as well.

One major change for me is, on .64 my Pearl would constantly change from Suretype (which I much prefer 90% of the time) to MultiTap, by itself. I'd constantly have to select menu, then engage SureType.

Now, I don't have to do that, but, unfortunatly, the ABC icon still appears on my Home Page most of the time! What's up with that???

Wow. I haven't had that problem so far. A battery pull might do the trick to clear it up.

Same here. My replacement came by last Thursday and that already had the .103 firmware as well. Nothing wrong with it and I just upgraded it to 2GB

this is total BS on Tmo's part, are they freakin kiddin!
i went thru all the trouble of downloading and installing the new .103 (but waaaaaaay over due OS) just to have to reinstall the .64 one again, .103 seemed to be working fine what gives, TMo better get their act together its bad enough we get the new devices late but they cant even get the OS right....SMH

You can always try the Czech version

What do you mean new devices late? TMO did get the Pearl first. For the curve I would rather have the one with WiFi then getting it early without it IMHO.

Re: T-Mo has now pulled OS .103!

i agree but about the WiFi to an extent Red, but its not all that some think its cracked up to be.
as far as the Curve everyone has one except for Tmo, if Tmo had one i would have bought it, and when the WiFi Curve came out i could easily upgrade through Tmo.
also if getting devices late wasn't an issue why are there so many Tmo users with unlocked Curves?
but your honest/humble opinion is appreciated

The only carrier that has a curve in the US at this point is AT&T.

TMO will get the 8320 this sept 7th with WiFi

The people that have unlocked Curves are the true Crackberry addicts. Crazys is what I say..hehe

SO only 2 months and you will have your Curve

Hope this is good news for you

I think he meant he refuses to buy a Cingular Curve and unlock it, while waiting for the T-Mo version.

yeah t-mobile gets exclusives, it all depends on software etc. like the pearl we got it first, we will get the pearl in the different colos, our curve is going to be an exclusive and we are going to be the first to have that type of device. at&t isn't going to have those same feature on their curve.
