Simple question. Anyone ever dropped their pearl in water and then swapped the litmus paper to look like it hadn't been touched by water? Seems like a pretty easy method. I just want a replacement...and of course its not covered... I have had it less than a month!
Any suggestions are appreciated!
That sucks, good luck....

From what I remember, there are usually 2 water indicators, one on the outside (that you're going to try to replace) and another one inside. Whenever they send your phone of to be repaired, thats the first thing they look for ( the indicator inside the phone) if I were you, I'd sign up for insurance and then bring it in the day that the insurance takes effect. Otherwise you'll end up paying for the replacement when they figure out that you swapped the indicators. Good luck with what ever you decide to do.
Ya follow Cougar24's advice...
it's always greener with the other carrier...
OK but here is the thing, I was told by Bell that they do not service blackberry's at all (maybe its a Canadian thing) they merely replace them. So they may look but they most certainly will not try to repair it. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do... but thanks for the input!
So basically what you are trying to accomplish is fraud?
Yup...fraud....Just by a replacement from Ebay or something.
Also---take the battery out and place it in dried rice for a few days, see if that works. It's been a bit since you wet thephone, but it may work. As long as theirs no rust it may be ok
Color---it's nothing but a hue of the rainbow...why do people place such importance in it?
