    Stopping data usage in Canada

I was wondering if there is a way to "turn off" data usage while I'm in Canada. I noticed that it's about 2 bucks a meg while there and frankly I dont want to pay that.

Is there a way to block the traffic or is the only way not to use the phone (leave it off)?

    Curious.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ go to options then mobile network.change it to off or off when roaming. You can also do 'turn wireless off' from your application menu, but I think that only turns of that phone feature.

    Good luck!

depending on the theme you are using, you might have to go through settings options and continue on.

True, it only turns off the cell phone.

You can stop Dataroaming unter Options - Mobile Network - Off When Roaming.

Turning wireless off does only turn off the cell phone, but since the cell phone is off it won't recieve data so that would solve the OP's issue. The downside to doing that is that the OP will not be able to make a phone call until he turns the wireless back on.
