    Stereo headphone recommendations

I just got the Pearl, and attempted to use a couple of different headsets. I bought a bluetooth stereo headset, which of course doesn't work for listening to mp3s. Then I tried my MDA headset, which only plays in one ear. I saw a thread somewhere on this site with similar complaints voiced, but no recommendations as to what I should get.

What I'd like is a pair of headphones I can use to listen to music with. Is there anything I can run out and buy at Circuit City or Best Buy that would do the trick? Anyone has any good successes with headphones and the Pearl?

    Thanks,
    Alex

BTW, they should have them at your local Verizon Store. You don't have to order them offline. Just go into the store, and tell the sales associate you need to see their 2.5mm stereo headphones. They are probably on a stand up track in a corner of the store.

Oh yeah, and another good thing, they will work with any Blackberry, not just the 8100's.

Phone calls are much easier to understand with dual headphones also, rather than the single headphone.

    Works on my 8700, 8100, 7290 and 7100.

In my opinion, use your headphones you already use.

I got the plantronics stereo 2.5 m headset a few weeks ago and love 'em. I do like the earphone adapter though, as it would be nice to have have to juggle 20 different ear devices.

I purchased a Jabra stereo headset from a verizon store for 29.99. Don't recall the model, but should be easy enough to figure out. These have molded earpieces.

While waiting for my Seidio adapter, at Bestbuy I bought for temp use a Jabra headset. Works fine. See pics for model number.

Since then my Seidio adapter arrived and I use that with my high end headphones. They work far better than anything that cost $30, such as this Jabra headset.

Here is the one I bought at BestBuy. It's a decent item.

    Stereo headphone recommendations

Those of you still waiting for or looking to buy a stereo earphone, cell phone headset combo, this seller on eBay has the Jabra at a low price. About $22 shipped. That's inexpensive.

I have been using this Jabra model for 3 weeks and like it for use at the gym and on my road bike.

    Re: Stereo headphone recommendations

i have a problem with them...i now realize that my left ear is slightly different from my right ear. Not that anyone would notice, but when both sides are adjusted exactly the same, the one in the left is looser. I thought it was the headset pieces, but when i switched them, same problem.

i had to adjust the gel part to point a little higher to get the same feel on both sides (it doesn't affect the sound, it just feels very very weird when the sides are not the same).
