I obviously cant post the internal pricing sheet, however I am looking at it right now...

    Sprint 8130
    $499.99 no contract
    $349.99 w/ 2 year contract less a $50 instant rebate and a $100 mail in rebate.

Also these will be available to order on 11-17-2007 for stores and will launch on 11-23-2007. Enjoy.

By 2-Year Contract Pricing do you mean if a new customer signs a 2-year or if an existing customer (not all the way through there current contract) signs a new one?

I am assuming he means new customer, never been with sprint before

i'm sure (as per Sprint's usual process) a two year contract price only applies to a new customer. If you're almost done with your current contract, you're eligible for an upgrade credit, but it probably won't bring you down that low. Pity.

The reason I ask is that Engadget reports the 2 year new customer price to be $199. So $350 better be the price for an existing customer if they bring it down that far for a new one.

Here is the deal with Sprint: If you have the same phone for 22 months you are allowed to renew your contract for 2 years with a $150 discount off the full price of a new phone and get the lowest price available to customers. If you have had your phone for more than 12 months but not quite 22 months you are eligible for $75 off the full price of a phone, but no rebates. If you have not had your phone for more than 12 months you get no discount and must pay full price.

Also new customers get the lowest price of course.

wow so you are saying $499.99 no contract - $150 for being near completion = $349.99. What is this "lowest price available to customers" part? Is that mail in rebates to bring it to the 2-year pricing?

$300 after rebate seems a little high. I just got my pearl from Verizon for $100 after rebate. I haggled a little bit, but not much. And they game me an additional $100 when I got the unlimited data. Not that I wasn't going to anyway, especially since they lowered the price. But still people pay more enV's and such.
