Try a battery pull with the phone on and when it comes back up hold the alt key+lglg and hit menu and clear log. If that does not speed up the process run an application loader off of the PC. Oh yeah and try changing the theme, some work quicker then others.

Delete preloaded languages (via Desktop Manager) and applications you don't use. Go to Media, and select any of the options (Pics, Ringtones, etc) and set Reserved Picture Memory to 0 MB, Device Memory Limit to 12 MB.

Also go to Options>Security>General Settings>Set Password. Then exit out of that. Go back into it and select Memory Cleaning and set it to show on your BB screen. Use this to clean your BB every so often (I do daily).

Also, hold down the ALT key and type LGLG. This will show your event logs. Delete those.

I just installed this program OTA yesterday. http://www.emobistudio.com/memoryup_bb.html It cleared up 1 MB of space on my Pearl. Here's the thread http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...up_mobile.html

Forgot about the battery pull LOL

How do I delete the preloaded languages on the Desktop Mangaer for Macs? Already I've experienced this problem already and my gf only had the phone for 2 days.
