I was wondering how you add contacts to the SIM phone book? I'm on AT&T ... BlackBerry Pearl forum
I was wondering how you add contacts to the SIM phone book? I'm on AT&T and I need to transfer my contacts in my address book on my pearl to a new phone and Im sure there won't be a problem if they're saved in the SIM phone book but I don't think any of mine are. Or is there an easier way to do this? Thanks.
If you're going to a new BB, just use the Switch Device Wizard in Desktop Manager to transfer the contacts.
my new phone is a samsung eternity though...otherwise i'd use the device wizard.
Oh ok. Not sure how to transfer contacts from BB to WM.
ok...because i know that you can store contacts on the SIM card, i just can't find the option where to do it.
I don't think you can transfer them I know you can do it one by one by going to address book then open someone like view them then hit menu and at top It says copy to sim phonebook that's the only way I know of I know it sucks! Good luck hope helps.
~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
if you have office, you can syncronize with it then when you install the desktop software from the samsung it should have an option of syncronizing...if not do not use that samsung..
beacuse microso... office is an universal syncronizing tool, that stores all of your adressbook contacts in an universal form wich can be read with any cell phone, i am using the same procedure with my motorola v3, and if your cell phone doesn't have any sync software you can use a program called sync cell wich you can google it and download it
1. sync your bb with outlook
2. connect your samsung via sync cell
3. in the program select your desired contact to be copied (quite simple)
4. begin syncin
5. there ya go
sorry for the english....
p.s. done this via sync cell for my d990i through my bb pearl 8100
