    Sim Card falling out?

Every time I do a battery pull, my sim card falls out. I put it back in, it sounds like it's locking, but next time I pull the battery, it happens again.

    Anyone else having this problem?

The SIM cover locks as stated by dfc420. You have to have a tactile feel of when it is locked.

Same experiences here - my sim card flap even fell out once. It went back in pretty easily and haven't had any problems since. No big deal as long as it doesn't fall out during use.

It's not broke (at least I don't think it's broke), I hear it click when I lock it. Just trying to figure if this is a problem with my phone or a larger Pearl problem.

Mine seems to do the same thing. I have no tactile sensation of the cover moving, but I can see it move. It just doesn't lock. I have tried taping it, but to no avail. Every time I jar the device it falls out. Anyone have any suggestions about macgyvering it to stay shut?

you really have to push on the little metal locking mechanism to get it to stay in. if you do it right you will here an audible "click" I figured it out today, I feel like a total moron. You have to put your whole thumb on it and push towards the lock direction

but it could be a badly manufactured piece

I ripped a business card in half and placed it behind the battery. That worked out for me

ooh he mcguyver'd it...... nice.... it's pretty sad with what we pay for technology nowadays that we still have to fix stuff ourselves. imagine having to jerry rig your pacemaker with a paper clip and strand of dental floss......
