    What connection type indication is showing on the Home screen? GSM, gprs/edge, GPRS/EDGE or Data Connection Refused?

    You may need to call Cingular and make sure something hasn't happened with your Account. I know in the past there have been network hiccups that need to have Customer Care reset the services for an account. Call and ask for the Blackberry Support desk and explain your problem to them. Be polite though and you will get better service.

    I have GPRS/EDGE (Cingular Pearl). I think im going to go to the store, just because its easier for me, calling is not fun, but I will probably end up calling anyways.

    Here is what I wrote on another thread, it may have the answer you are looking for.

    And I think you said in another post you forgot your BIS Account Name? I guess your best bet is going to the Store, but I imagine they are just going to call Customer Care for you.

    Yeah, I went to the store and they would have called, but they said that they wouldn't give it to them, because of security or something? They had already tried. I love the local Cingular store, the people there are so nice. They just gave me the Blackberry Support #. The lady said that they would robably make me wipe my Pearl clean? I don't think so. Im just getting my Username lol.

    Definately call into cingular data support for the blackberry. Just tell them you forgot your BIS username, and they can find it again by your pin number. Then can even send the service books to you if you verify the other emails that you can check on your blackberry, but the pin number should suffice.

    I called. I called Cingy and they said that they couldn't help me, and gave me a RIM #. I call the RIM # and they say they can't help me, so they transfer me black to Cingy and i finally got it to work.
