    Is there a setting somewhere where I can stop the showing of e-mail messages in my msg's folder?

    No there isn't. the only option is just to open the dedicated folder for each email account.

    Try this, go to your messages, hit the menu key >> Options >> General Settings >> Sms and Email inbox = separate. (Default is prolly theme controlled or combined) Hope this is what you were trying to do.

    Actually there is a way to separate SMS from email messages, if yo go into your email messages and go into general options and scroll all the way down there is an option that says SMS and Email Inboxes: select that push the trackall in and you will get the option to separate and select that option and when you look on your screen there will be a note icon with a phone which is your text message separated.

    I don't have that option
    But I am running the old OS, do I need to upgrade to have that option?

    You may need to, I'm running 4.2.1.96, not sure which version it shows up in.

    thanks. i just did this and sure enough the sms and emails are separate.
