Go to your carrier's email setup either on your pc here: https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw&locale=en , or on the BB through the E-mail setup. Log in then go email, edit and remove or change the signature.

EDIT: THIS CAN'T BE DONE VIA BB FOR BIS USERS, ONLY VIA PC. THANKS FOR THE CORRECTION ERICA!

just so verizon users can get to the BIS site easier than remembering that long url, here is the simplified url for BIS

    www.blackberry.com/go/vzw

Only BES users can change their signatures via the BB (or DM...I forget which one).

Thanks for the correction Erica......I had changed it from my PC before and on my BB I had been in and saw it in the edit section and thought I could change it there.

But I just tried to actually change it from my BB for the 1st time and it wouldn't allow it.....I'm on BIS

Sorry if I mislead anyone......thanks again Erica.

ok there is some confusion here. if you are on BIS then your email is originating from outside the device and being pushed to it. hence why you have to change the sig from the BIS website.

now if you are on a BES you can change the sig in DM, only if you have BES version of DM installed and thats because the email is now being pushed from outlook wirelessly but is controlled by DM hence why you can change it there.

I was never talking about using DM

I was talking about using the BIS web page via BB or PC. Accessing the BIS web site through my PC allows the edit.....but accessing the BIS web site via BB would not allow the signature to be edited.~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Log in to your t-mobile email setup on your pc, I think this is the link: http://www.instantemail.t-mobile.co.uk/

Once you log in, just select the email address you want to change the signature on and click edit, then go to signature and delete it or change it to whatever you want it to say. I belive that should work, but I don't have T-Mobile so I'm not sure if their wording is different. I hope this works for you, if not post back and someone else should be able to help you out.

    Smile Thank you!

I am very new to BBs (just got it a week ago). And I have been reading through these threads a lot, and have found so much useful information for me as a newbie. This thread was helpful as well, so I thought it was time to register and say 'Thanks'. I was so frustrated trying to remove that 'sent from...' message on my BB; I didn't even know I had a BIS site to log into! LOL!

    Thanks again!
