    send using Bluetooth?

my sister and I we're trying to send music files from my pearl to her razr. I choose a file and select "send using bluetooth". It acts like its going to make the transfer until my phone asks for a password. I've tried my security password.. 1234....last four digits of my phone number....of her number..0000....I think you get the point. Would anyone know what I'm supposed to enter to complete the transfer? Thanks to any and all help.

My son and I send stuff back and forth this way all the time, neither is using a razr though. We never are asked for a password. We have paired our devices and listed them as trusted in our settings.

Ok. With Bluetooth, that code basically let's the phone assume that there is a intended "pair". You can pick any number you choose, regardless of digits, just make sure you enter the same number on both phones. It's almost like verification that that's what you wanted to do. That is all. And that really goes with any device that doesn't have a set password, like a Bluetooth headset, or such.

You can use any 4 digits you like, as long as both units use the same number, which is determined by which device does the seeking.

I have my BB & RAZR paired, it works better than to my PC.

Is there any way to send a contact from my address book to someone else via bluetooth? I've been looking but haven't found out how.

It is possible to Bluetooth contacts, however the Bluetooth profile must be supported on both phones to do so.
