    Security Tests

When you do a battery pull the phone always does a security test. I tried asking a Tmobile rep exactly how this works, and she said that it is exactly what it says. Does anyone know how this works? Never seen it happen before but happens if the security tests fails? Just curious.

If it fails. It will Identify what software is unsafe or poses a security risk. On BES it will notify the BES Admin and probably detach your handheld from BES sync.

You can manually launch it by going to Options > Security Click the trackwheel and select Verify Security Software. The Verifying Security Software screen appears. Once the process is completed, Security Tests Passed will appear to confirm that the verification was successful.
