    Question SD Micro Problem

So I just received my Kingston 2gb Micro SD card......I follow the directions for installation and when I go to turn my Blackberry back on the screen stays white. When I remove the SD card and power up again , everything works fine.
Is it possible that this SD card is not allowing my Blackberry to function properly or even turn on?

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~i believe that mine did that at first too. It was because it takes some time to verify the card the first time you install it. At least that is how I remember it. I would suggest putting it back in, turn it on and let it sit for a while until it gets through it.

    ok, that worked.....now problem #2.
I go to the Media Card option & get the following:
    Media Card Support : On
    Encryption Mode: None
    Mass Storage Mode Support: On
Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected: Yes

A media card is not presently inserted in the device.

I did in fact insert the media card as per the instructions......what do i try next?...thank you

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ok. I would either 1) power off and on again with the card in or 2) leave card in and do a battery pull. Give those a shot and get back to me.

go into the media card option you were in and hit menu. Format card will be off the menu that comes up.

I also had problems with my Kingston 2gb card, I spoke with Kingston support and had to get two new cards but just put in the 3rd one and it is working wonderfully! Plus support was great about shipping quickly with no cost to me. Try calling them.

pull battery with phone on and pull memory card, put it back and see if you can then format the card.

Just to be sure...OPTIONS>ADVANCED>MEDIA CARD>MENU KEY (left of the pearl) should give you the format option.
