    Screen Shield

I have used a thin but very tough clear plastic sheet that was cut to fit on the BB 8100 screen to prevent scratches.
I have a new BB and don't remember the name of the supplier. Any help? Thanks

    Howdy and Welcome!

Best Skins Ever makes such a product, as well as a skin for the entire pearl....

If it wasn't bestskinsever.com then you got it from www.shieldzone.com

Got mine from there and it has saved my a$$ so many times.

    Re: Screen Shield

I am using a screen (only) cover that I got from BoxWave. This is a screen-protector, doesn't cover the whole device. I have used their stuff before and they are good quality. However, I have to admit I don't like the way it looks on my Pearl. Since the Pearl is flat, meaning the screen isn't indented or sunk in, the screen protector just sits on top. I think it looks kinda cheesey and I am thinking about just getting rid of it. If you have a device where the screen area is recessed, the BoxWave stuff looks nice. Just my humble $0.02 worth!

I purchased a Nintendo DS screen film, cut it to size and you can't tell there is one there unless you run a findernail along the edge.

rabbie i have it for my iPod 30GB, works great. I also have and iSkin EVO on it too. There's basically no way to dent it up now. So basically it's got a BSE then covered with a silicon skin and a plastic screen guard. Here's the link to the iskin http://www.iskin.com/evo3/index.tpl?...61655513261936 most local dealers carry them. I go running in the rain all the time and it stays dry, pretty crazy.

I'm using a generic Fellowes screen protector from Best Buy. It frequently absorbs fingerprints and provides modest protection.

i am using shieldzones version for the entire 8100. its been on it for close to a year and is starting to lift in and around the corners and edges. i also have the shieldzone for a couple of ipods. i like them a lot but not so sure i like the peeling up of the film vs. the money they cost.
