There isn't anything within the RIM OS that will allow you to save attachments, perhaps there is a 3rd party app available that will, but I'm not sure about that.

Actually, there is a bit of workaround possible. Just save the entire message, and then delete it from your list of current messages. Then when you view your saved messages folder, it will be there. You might have to open the attachment everytime you view it, but that is a way of saving them, outside of your current msg list. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

    Thumbs up Re: save attachment?

    Hello,
BeamBerry software allows you to view and save document attachments (PDF, Word, PPT, XLS, RTF, ZIP archives, etc.) and it's free.

actually attachments expire after a certain time period. when it goes to retrieve it from the server you will get a big ol' red X.

Decent solution as long as you're comfortable with your document being on, and rendered by, the BeamBerry server.

Huh. I have attachments in my list from last November. It might only be certain attachments that expire. via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
