Haven't figured out exactle how to do it. But somehow I manage to get rss deeds from craigslist. I clicked on the rss link and save that as a book mark.

There is a built in rss reader for the 8100 though. The only site that I have successfully retrieved rss deeds though is craigslist though. I tried the add webfeed option and when I click on that bookmark it just shows the source code of that feed.

    However, the point remains:

The 4.2 BlackBerry browser is supposed to support RSS feeds / bookmarks.

Has anyone with an 8100 (or 87xx hacked 4.2) been able to verify this?

Well, on the 8100 I initially went to Google news to set it as a bookmark. I then clicked RSS on the google news page and RSS feeds were there, so I then wanted to make it my home page.

While on the RSS page I pressed <menu>

    Then pressed <options>

    Then highlighted <browser configuration>

Scrolled to bottom where is says <home page>

    Highlighted <use current>

    Clicked the trackball to select.

Now when I click go to home page it goes to the Google News RSS feed.

Does anyone know where the selection is, if it can be done, to have the browser go to my home page when I click on the browser icon on the Pearl "desktop?"

There's an easier way to accomplish this:

    1) Browse to a site with an RSS feed
    2) Hit menu button
    3) Select "Add Web Feed"
    4) RSS feed will be added to your Blackberry Bookmarks folder with the completely useless name "RSS"
    5) Rename bookmark

    That's it.

But I wanted mine as the homepage not just a bookmark.
