    Rogers 4.2.1.94 upgrade problem

Having done the Rogers upgrade, I have noticed that if one goes into messages and selects "Delete Prior", the icon and the figure showing the number of unread messages does not disappear as it used to. I have tried a battery pull - but with no success. Pressing any button will remove the icon and number. Does anyone else see this?

I usually look at the messages before I delete them. I dunno if that will help or not.

I don't need to read them if I have already read them on my PC first.

Just to clarify, I have nothing unread in any other folder and the icon does disappear if I press another button afterwards. It is only a minor bug which will hopefully be fixed in the next upgrade - especially as it was only introduced on this version of the OS
