    Ringer Profile - NOT VIBRATING FOR MESSAGES

    I'm on a Cingular Pearl, with imported settings/details from older BBs (Nextel 7510 -> Nextel 7520 -> TMo Pearl). When I had the TMobile Pearl, I was able to set up a different number of vibrations for different email accounts by editing the different MESSAGES accounts within the Normal Ringer Profile.

    For some reason, the pearl isn't following the settings for ANY of my emails. It doesn't make any noise (vibrate OR ring) and the LED notifier doesn't seem to be blinking either. Its driving me crazy.

    Here are my current settings. I want it to vibrate 1x for one account, 2x for another and 3x for another. I'm only showing 1 account's settings here because the only setting that changes is the number of vibrations:

    Out of Hoster: Vibrate
    Tune: NotifierXXXXX
    VOlume: High
    Number of Beeps: 1
    Repeat Notification: LED
    Number of Vibrations: 1

    In Hoster: Vibrate
    Tune: NotifierXXXXX
    VOlume: High
    Number of Beeps: 1
    Repeat Notification: LED
    Number of Vibrations: 1

    On a side note. The messaging services still lists my nextel.blackberry.net account. How do I remove this? Would that be removed on the webclient, the desktop software or on the phone itself. It has been causing some minor messaging errors

    You need to go into the setup email and activate your new pincode. Your bb still thinks it's going to the old one. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

    Thanks! That added the mycingular.blackberry.net account and I manually deleted the nextel.blackberry.net account's service book. One problem down, one to go.

    I still can't figure out why my phone isn't vibrating for emails!

    maj...have you tried a soft reset/battery pull?
    also...you can change those settings, but also make sure that whichever profile you change the settings in, that is the one you have chosen to use

    To change those settings on the pearl you need to go to Profiles then Advanced at the bottom of the list. From there you can edit the appropriate profile.
