    Ringer not loud enough

My setting for incoming call ringer is on loud setting+vibration, and still it is not loud enough, if I am in other room, I always miss calls. Is there any way to make it louder or change setting which will make it better.

Also not interested to make holes on the back cover, so please don't advise.
    Thanks.

You can change the ring tone to make it more noticable. I was missing calls as well, but changed to the T-mo ring tone. It seems to be louder than any others.

True so true. I use certain rings here at work, specifically b/c they're quieter than others. Evenings and weekends I choose a much louder ring tone. If you don't like the included ringtones, you can always download free ones from the many many free ringtone sites.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~I agree it definitely could be louder. I pretty much have to keep mine on my person in order to hear it. I'll check out the battery cover though. I've used software before in the past that let you change the ringtones by making them vibrate at the same time and raising the amplitude before you put it on the phone. Can't think of what the program was though or if it will work for BB.

You can also do the old "hole drill trick" that has been discussed here before. It works great, is free and is quick! Be careful not to mess up though!

Yeah you're right! I didn't notice that the first time I read through. I apologize up front for the gentleman having to either read, or skim past my previous post. Best of luck to him!
