I have gone ahead and threw togiether a quick guide on how to revert back to the older list theme. I personally don't like the icon base themes.

you can find the guide at

    www.kradest.com

In order to revert back to the theme... you will need to download the zip file from my site, or you could get the files yourslef from an older os release.

    Files include
-javaloader.exe (search around if you don't know what this is)
    -T-Mobile Zen List theme (net_rim_100...cod)

Have any questions, please let me know... Also be very careful with javaloader, as my website states, i take no responsibilites if you erase, destroy your blackberry. Be careful and follow the steps and your good to go.

Thanks although I was worried after installing new OS, however this is the same theme I was already using so I'm good. I prefer the icons. Nice work though

I would doubt it... they are labled the same cod... if you go to upload it, it should overwrite whatever is on it.

I never tried a rename of the cod... but i think it would still overwrite because the files are labeled the same internally.

Does anyone know how to completely remove the new Italy OS and restore the old one? I've backed up my old version so I have it to put back on, I just have no idea how to get rid of the new OS and I don't want to go and delete the wrong thing.

tanbuc ^^ first you need to make sure that you have downloaded the older os onto your system. the 'backup' will not restore the old os.
you will also need to uninstall the italian os in control panel.
then install the older cingy os onto your pc and install just as you did the other.

::edit:: if installation is done properly, the dm will recognize the fact that you are trying to 'downgrade'

I checked out the 2nd today. It's a color/icon variation of the same new one. it's not the same as the previous version.
