Replacing Side Rails
I ordered replacement side rails a while back because I dropped my BB and scratched them (I was so pissed). I was hesitant to replace them, and I'm glad, because I just dropped my BB yesterday (for the 2nd time) and scratched the side rails again. So now, my BB is looking pretty gross, so I think it's time for transplant surgery.
Anyone know of a good tutorial or something to guide me in this critical moment?
I've never taken my BB apart, so I need one with good details/pics (if possible)
I would really appreciate it.
P.S. The Stacks RULE!!
Check this out:
Blackberry Pearl 8100 Screen Replacement & Dissection
It includes the side rail stuff.
Damn Lucky!! You're TOO FAST SOMETIMES man Lol j/k
Thanks, I wanna check it out, but I gotta wait to get home because YouTube is blocked by our IT Department here at work
But I'm sure it's just what I need...especially since it's video
Just in case...they have additional videos along the right side similar to this one.
Where did you order your rails from? I believe someone told me that cnn.cn had a video tutorial on this as well....
