    I've been having the most annoying problems imaginable with my pearl.. Instead of getting another replacement is it possible to get a different model phone all together?

    If you sweet talk the customer service reps or retention reps you might be able to
    Color---it's nothing but a hue of the rainbow...why do people place such importance in it?

    Get the 8310..or if you're on TMo, I guess the 8320.

    Talk to them for a while, tire them out.
    Then ask for their Manager and sweet talk to him/her. And tell him how you have been a great customer and blah blah blah.

    Try doing this on a Friday

    Yea I doubt that you be able to switch actual models. Most of the time they will replace with the same model unless you had a lot of trouble with the same model. Can't hurt to try. What troubles sre you even having with your pearl anyway?

    They weill replace it with a different model if you have ezchanged that phone 2-3 times already. You can threaten to cancel your contract, thas what I did, but thats probably because we have 60+ lines.

    Just explain your situation to them, exagerate it a little, and they willl probablly get you wht you want.

    I work for Time Warner and it makes me laugh how people think if they complain so much, that it will just change policy. Nah..

    I used to work for "Cingular" before the big AT&T change and I know exactly how this goes if you have exchanged the device previously more than twice you can get a new device and if you have been a customer of them for more than two terms 4 years you pretty much get what you want.....so pull your weight they owe it to you.....if you have been with them for more than 1 term then you are nothing but pure revenue!!!!!

    exactly, i have been a costumer for 8 years and have never had problems with them denying me requests, as long as they were reasonable.

    Things that they will consider are

    1. How long have you been with them?
    2. How many previous exchanges/returns with the phone?
    3. What is your current status? Do you have late or overdue payments?

    k so i called them today.. getting a dash as a replacement for now, they had no problem at all w/ the exchange

    there were too many annoying problems w/ the pearl, i couldn't take it anymore

    Good luck man...careful with windows mobile it's not as reliable was the BB OS.
