    Removing an app

I searched this forum but couldn’t find an answer. I need to remove (delete) an app from my device but I am unable to. When I use the menu, “delete” or “remove” do not appear as an option? How does one remove an app? Thanks.

You can do that through Desktop Manager or the handset. Desktop Manager is a little complicated and confusing in comparison to deleting apps through the handset.

Be mindful that when deleting through the handset on correct deletion input it will "reboot" your device. Seems a little unnerving, but go ahead and let it restart the phone.

    Go to <OPTIONS>

When pressing <Applications> and getting to where it shows Applications installed on your device

Scroll to or highlight the Application you want removed.

Then press the <MENU> key. "Delete" will be listed as one of the selectable items.

(Menu key is the key with dots to left of trackball).

Highlight "delete" and press the trackball.

What if it's not listed in applications? but exists on your shortcut icons, and in the modules' tab (advanced>applications> (menu button) modules)

I loaded a .cod but can't remove it.
    hmmm....

Delete the modules that exist for that application, but only the ones that you are certain are for that app. You dont want to delete other modules, that may cause problems with your BB.

I used javaloader -usb wipe, then reflashed the OS.

Now it's nice and trim and quick as hell.
    Thanks!

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~I have the same problem. I downloaded an OTA mobileplay.com, this program isn't listed within my applications, but that goofy stupid icon is there. Will try to remove via desktop manager.
