    ReDirector doesn't work?

    I installed the Desktop Manager 4.2 and followed the instructions. I chose Blackberry Enterprise Server or Redirector (1st option) and it doesn't work. Help?

    Are you on a BES? Is this a company BB or are you trying to connect to your company network? Or is the a personal BB? I'm willing to bet the latter. If so you need to uninstall the Desktop manager and re-install using the Internet option. One quick question concerning your Profile. Do you have an 8100 or a 7100, just curious as you posted in the 7100 forum not the 8100.

    I have a company 7290 BB on a BES. I'd like to purchase the BB PEARL, which is not a company standard device and will not be support by our IT. Will I be able to configure the PEARL on my own to get corporate emails via Redirector or some other means? We use Outlook as our email client.
