Horvie, when you posted this problem in the AT&T forums, we gave you this same list of instructions to follow. Did they not work when you tried it? (Or maybe you didn't see the response, based on the time of your OP)
As Gary mentioned, its a common problem with the AT&T Pearls. Downloading the most current Desktop Manager application and AT&T OS will fix you right up.
