Question Recieving My own Sent Emails

I am recieving my sent emails (from phone and computer) on my handset as unread mail. I have already set the phone to hide sent messages but for some reason when I send a message, I recieve them all...its quite frustrating as you can imagine. Is there some setting I'm missing? Or does this problem have to do with the fact that I have not set up any email programs for my BB to sync with?

    Please help.

is that a Gmail account you are referring to?
If so you need to log into https://my.t-mobile.com/login/Default.aspx then go to your blackberry email settings (near the bottom). Create a filter. Set it for "FROM:" and enter your email address, then select do not forward to device. for that filter.

Quick fix: You can set a rule or filter on the blackberry account. Log on to your blackberry account.
    a) Select "filters" on the account is doing this
    b) Select "Add Filter"
    c) On the filter name, choose any name you want
    d) On the "Apply filter when" field, select "From" field
    e) On the "contains" field, put your email adress
    f) Select "Do not forward messages to handheld" and click save

I have that problem, too. I agree, it's annoying. But I guess it must not be annoying enough for me to have tried to alleviate the problem.
I'd also like to hear the answer to this question.
I'm guessing that it's because the "wireless reconcile" option is turned on, so the phone sends a copy of the outgoing message to you so you'll have a record of it in your regular email inbox. And then you get it again on your phone because it shows up as a new message. Just speculating here...

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~is that problem exclusive to gmail or do other providers have that problem too?
