ive been charging my PEARL with a motorolla RAZR charger. if your asking me why, my dog ate it (seriously). its the same fit but im still kinda shakey about the idea. i really wanted to know what the information was on the chargers. how many volts does the razor charger give out compared to the pearl charger. i wanna know if im overcharging my fone or undercharging it and what extent of damage this is causing.

Well there is another thread on this site that has the info your looking for. If you search you should come up with something. I think that the razr charger doesnt do too much damage or it might not do any damage. I'm not sure because I read this a while ago. Look and see what you come up with.

    Hope this helps,

You have to be careful with brick chargers. The little brick chargers typically have the voltage output imprinted on it. You are not worried so much about the current output but the voltage output is very important. If the charger puts out more voltage than your device is rated for, you could damage the device.

With USB charging, the USB spec defines the acceptable voltage so you don't have to worry about it.

But it souunds like it is working fine.
