    hey chris, welcome to pinstack!

I'm not sure if you can actually edit the sim phonebook through your pc, I know you can sync your microsoft outlook with your device memory.

I guess you could sync your phone with outlook added the information you want and then use the copy to sim function on your phone, but that seems like more work than it is worth.

Re: Question for SIM Phone Book

It's not really difficult to edit phone entries on your PC.

Your BB will synchronize with you MS Outlook (and I think some other programs) on your PC. For me, it was as easy as going to the Desktop Manager, double clicking on Synchronize and choosing how you want it to synchronize.

What happens when I do this (daily I might add) is that I get all calender items, addresses and such from Microsoft Outlook. If I make changes on the phone, they get resolved on the next sync. If I make changes in Outlook, the phone gets updated on the next sync.

There is no way to "put your SIM in the computer" or other such things. Also, the BB doesn't come with desktop software like the Palm devices. They are business devices designed to sync with business organizers.

Good luck! If you have any questions, feel free to post here and someone can help get you pointed in the right direction.
    As always, just my opinion...
