    Heyy guys,
I just bought my mom a red pearl for mother's day. Is there anyway to get her Lotus Notes and Work email onto her pearl without putting her Pearl on BES?

    Re: Question about work email

Only if the company uses something like Outlook Web Access to get to the email outside of the office. If they already have a BES then it is a mute point and there is no way around putting her on the BES to get email.

Well she can access her mail from just a normal mail address and she says that if her company gives her trouble she will say " well then give me a device that can" lol so then she would have 2 So she can't even get the Lotus Notes?

If she can get to it from outside of work then it is more then likely using a pop3 or imap server and should be able to be set up to recieve on the pearl.

    Re: Question about work email

I'm able to access my works site for mail from my pearl using the browser. The address should be something like... http://mail.enter name here.com

I have to log in just as I would form a PC, but it works. Only difference is that I can not delete message from the Pear like I can a PC.

You sure she is entering the site address properly?
