    Question about ring volume settings

I like to keep my 8100 on Vibrate. I get a lot of emails and I don't want any noises. The vibrating is loud enough.

Can I make is so that all emails and texts alert me via vibrate but phone calls can be a quiet ring?

I know that if I were to read full sets of instructions and tips and tricks front to back, back to front and memorize and play around, I'd be able to get this in the next month.

But I'm sure someone here's been in the same spot and knows the answer.

    Thanks,

If you go into your profiles, you can adjust each of the settings you are questioning, and even create different profiles for different circimstances.

The way I do it is as follows:

    Click Profiles
Scroll down to advanced and click
Click on the setting you have maked as active
Now just click on the the e-mail account you want to adjust, you have a choice of type, style and volume of ring.
You also have a choice of holstered or out of holster.

    Hope this helps.

Re: Question about ring volume settings

Can I set it to NORMAL as Active and then tell it as an exception ALL text and ALL email messages be vibrate?

Can I also still turn down the ringer and set different ringers for different people?

Re: Question about ring volume settings

If you do like Dano stated, go int advanced and then click on normal. From there you select what want each option to do. Set SMS text to vibrate in or out of holster, set each one of your email account to vibrate or tone, and set the phone to a default ringer or vibrate in and out of holster. Then in your address book you can set different ringers for each and every contact.
