Question Problems with using third party applications

    Hi,

I bought my pearl a couple of weeks ago on T Mobile UK,
I downloaded Google Maps, EQO (Instant Messenger) and both haven't worked when they are both supposed to be compatible with the BB 8100. Has anyone experienced the problem?

    Thank you for your time

    Charles

Hello Charles. Do you have a data plan? Neither of those programs will work without one.

    Hello,

Yes I do, I currently have a 1GB a month data plan. One problem with T Mobile in the UK is that it only works on GPRS but I don't think that would be the problem.

First step would be to try a battery pull reset and see if that works.

I've already done that, hasn't helped.

They should work. I would try deleting them (Options/Advanced/Applications/Delete), rebooting (battery pull), reinstall them, another battery pull and that should do it.
