    Problems with new email

    My school recently switched to Gmail for its domain but my email address still ends with @acu.edu and ever since the switch, I have not been receiving emails for that address on my Pearl. I tried deleting the email address and then adding it again but it still doesn't work. Does anyone know what I have to do about this?

    Are you sure it is just not an in school adress working in an internal network

    Johnny,
    After you made the switch to ACU's Google mail, you will need to change connection settings to point to Google instead of the old mail server. Contact Team 55 for more information.

    I think I know why my email hasn't been working ever since my school switched to Gmail. When I go to the Advanced Settings for this account, it still shows the account is an IMAP account and it won't let me change it to a POP account. Is there any way to change this through the BlackBerry?

    It's gonna be faster to change it through your carriers website!

    This maybe a off work to do, but delete your IPPP for BIBS in your Service Books and soft reset and see what it does... I could wrong, but it's worth a shot. Also delete any Email service books as well that were created when you created your email account.
