Correct me if I am wrong, but this issue follows your phone number (account), correct? When you got a new SIM on the same account - same result. When you got a new phone - same result. When you used your freinds SIM all normal? If this is correct the issue is not with RIM but with TMO and your account - somehow you are not correctly registered in their system (IMHO) - If so, call back and push for a higher level TMO support tech. They may need to delete your account completly and start from scratch....
I thought I read in an earlier post of his that the problem did not occur with his SIM card in another pearl.....
