    Problem e-mailing photos

    Hey folks,
When I try to email a photo taken with my pearl, I get this error message:
"The service does not support native attachment". Has anyone seen this and/or know how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

shot in the dark, you might want to check with tmo and see if there is anything on your current data plan that might restrict this

i know this isn't related, but when i had tmo i couldn't get my email to work and found out it was because my data plan didn't support a bes -

moral of the story - it could be something with your data plan

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~Try sending it as an MMS message. You can still send it to an e-mail address or a cell phone #. Just a thought.

That's a weak move on Rim's part... A camera phone that can't send the pictures that it takes??? Hopefully an OS upgrade will fix this.

How is it that N8 can send pics to me from his 8100 then? And I send pics as an email. I click Send as MMS then I choose an email addy and then send. I just sent one to myself to make sure.

Am I missunderstanding the question? If I am, im sorry for the confusion.

I just find it awfully wierd that you cannot snap a pick, and attach it to an email. Even the much despised Hiptop/Sidekick could do this easily.

I'm quite certain you are on a BES and trying to use that email address. Unless your company is on BES 4.1, you won't be able to send pics via that email. You can still send them via any of your BIS accounts, which is what I do. My company BES doesn't support the emailing of pics yet.
    Hope this helps!

For me - my tmobile BIS email account will not send photos.
So... I use my Yahoo mail account instead.

    Re: Problem e-mailing photos

I just tryed sending an email with a photo just taken from my .tmo.blackberry.net address to mt Tmo.blackberry.net address and it would NOT work!!! Now when i send them to any other address they work jusy fine and ecerything is ok. I fast work around is to use your Yahoo or Gmail account to send and recieve the picture and then it will open just fine on your BB and you can save it. Hope that helps!!! Bottom line you cant send yourself a pic from your Tmo.blackberry.net address to your Tmo.blackberry.net address

I beg to differ with you mythmbhurts. As I said in the post right above yours. I did it. So it can be done. I've done it not once but 3 times today. So it must have something to do with how tmo has your account set up. Thats all I can think of.

I would suggest going to tzones on your phone an eraending your service books. Might be something may not be there.
If that fails, try a hard reset battery pull, and finally call tmo and ask for BB support.
    Good luck!
