Price of 8100 tmobile last year with contract

    Hello,

My situation is that I am pretty sure that I purchased my blackberry 8100 last year on July 9, 2007 from Tmobile for 199.99 and I could have sworn that it was a 1-year contract, NOT a 2-year contract.

I am trying to get my contract canceled with Tmobile and they are telling me that I agreed to a 2-year contract and I think that is false.

Would anyone happen to know how much the 8100 cost last year with Tmobile for 1-year contract and for 2-year contract. I believe that the 2-year contract was 149.99 and the 1-year contract was 199.99.

Many thanks for those that can remember.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ here is an idea for you. Call customer support, get your phone unlocked. Then sell the phone, that will help with the disconnect fee. In any situation an Un-Locked phone sells to more carriers then a locked tmobile one does.

What carrier are you looking to go with?

well the way i see it is either
    A) try to find your contract. good luck with that
    or
    B) just call tmobile for wat ever reason make up something and at just ask them ramdomly to see when ur contract ends maybe the person who u talk to at first was just laying or something.

Yea, I tried but they keep telling me it is 2-years. If someone could tell me what they paid for this phone with tmobile last year around summer, that would be rather helpful.

    Thanks

I'm pretty sure that they don't have 1 year contracts. All the contracts I have signed with TMO have been 2 years.

Sorry for the bad news but pretty sure you maybe outta luck.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ this is just what I think, well from my contract, I got mine for $250 with a 2yr contract but that's bec I had like 2 months or something before my full upgrade price which was gonna be $199. Sooo. From this logic, I'm guessing it was for a 2yr.Also, they've had 2 yr since maybe like 2 yrs ago at least 2006 cause that's when I got my pearl.

I bought an 8100 from tmobile in Sept 07, the phone was $199.99 and I signed a 2 year contract. I was told they don't offer one year contracts anymore.

You can still get 1 year contracts at corporate stores. You pay about $50.00 more for the phone than you would for a 2 year contract.
