    Power Point attachments?

I received a .pps file from a friend (power point file). I download attachment in the email (full content), then hit the menu buttom and then retreive or view slides options. When I try to view the slides individually or as a slide show, all I get is a "?" on the screen. I thought you are able to view power point files on a blackberry? Am I doing something wrong?

Yes it should work on most BB's, OS versions and carrier BIS. Your profile is missing your device model, OS version and carrier. You can list for more specific support.

    Also see:

If you have the right OS etc we can move to the next step.

    hope this helps

Profile updated. Is 4.2.0.69 the lastest OS?

I think they should just release an update that would enable viewing of the .pps files as if it were a .ppt.

    Re: Power Point attachments?

Are the powerpoints supposed to appear as a presentation or does the blackberry just extract the text?

This is my third blackberry and all times it just shows the extracted text (sometimes in approximate fonts) - no graphics or anything.

My palm based device showed the actual powerpoint image....

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Re: Power Point attachments?

It only shows the extracted Text. It is not a miniture version of Power Point.
