You can just plug it into your PC and open it up.

Just drag and drop to the music folder.

If you enable "Mass Storage Mode" (it should ask when you plug the usb into the phone) then your computer will see the BB as a removable drive and you can copy / drag and drop, etc. By far the simplest and fastest way to go.

Let me know if you need more info!

Not to use it this way. If you use DM you will need to use media manager. Much more cumbersome!

No, you don't have to, but I would recommend it. Not for transferring media, but so you can load applications later on if you want. The ones you can't download OTA.

Desktop Manager (the newer version) does have the Roxio media manager. I haven't really tried it out. It seems cool though.

I myself don't use the media manager it's just quicker to drag and drop.

    Hope this helps

Save the songs in the music folder.

To play songs on your pearl select the Media icon and Music>Media Card. Once you are there you can play a song or hit the menu key and select Playy all or play folder.

Are you still plugged into your PC? It won't show up if Mass Storage is enabled and plugged into your PC. Just unplug it and Media Card will show up.

Macs can't use DM I think there's pocketmac for mac users.

I think if you just connect up your BB as a removable disk it should just recognize it just like a USB flash drive. So theoretically it should work. (I'm not sure though, I don't have a mac)
