    I bought a BB Pearl on EBay. It's made in Hungary one. It's brand new, but...... I can't create a new BlackBerry Internet Service account because the following error is received: The PIN and IMEI are already in use.I allready contact my wireless provider (Vodafone Italia), but they can't offer me a solution.

    you would probably need to contact the seller from ebay and tell them to release the PIN/IMEI number...

    Allready do that. He sustain that BB it's new (a gift from somebody) and he don't know more. It's no way to cancel the previosly registration?

    I would suggest contacting the seller and letting him know you want to return the phone if he can't give you more information. It most definitely is NOT new if the PIN and IMEI have been assigned to someone. (The only way this can happen is if someone has activated the phone on some carrier's network).

    If that doesn't get him to help you more, the only other way that I know of is to try to contact the original carrier (AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.) that activated the phone to see if they will release it.

    Someone else may come along with another idea. The seller isn't being honest with you about the origin of the phone, however.

    Just make sure you are putting the correct PIN and IMEI when you register. I had some issues with that.

    If the seller isn't willing to help you might want to try your carrier or RIM. They might be able to help.

    The operators of Customer Service Vodafone Italia lives in the Stone Age. I can't speak with someone competent. The BB service it's pretty new for them.

    Thanks for your whishes.I allready contact the seller but he don't know anything about the origins of my BB.
