Not Really, because I can alternate the Active Profile to Vibrate and Back, just by pressing and holding the Shift key when on the Home screen, but It still requires that I do it when entering a meeting and take it off when leaving.

I don't see any advantage for Ring and Vib at the same time.

well thats easy - even been in a loud room? i'm often in a room that is too loud to hear the ringer easily. in those cases i'll feel the vibration well before i'd hear the ringer.

really, the best combination would be an ascending ringer combined with constant vibration. then you'll have ample opportunity to answer / reject before anyone else is disturbed.

please tell me there is some simple step that i've missed!

    tia!
The reason for vibrate first, before ring begins, is for quite environments, such as certain areas in hospitals, which allows for pickup prior to the phone starting to make rings sounds. I can see that this is not for everyone.

I also feel that the berry should have flexibility in setting up ringers, etc.
