    Re: Pearl vs. Curve

Well I'm moving from the pearl 8100 to the curve. 8310 and here is why.

    1.The bigger screen
    2.Built in GPS
3.Video recording when 4.3 comes out
    5.Suretype should be called UnSuretype

That's all I can think of.

    Re: Pearl vs. Curve

I have used both. They are both great in their own ways but I just like the portability of the Pearl, the size fits better in my pocket. The keyboard took a little getting used to, but now it's simple. But, in the end, it's just your preference. You can't go wrong with either!

it also depends on if your getting a 8130 or a 8100 if you go with a 8130 your going to have everything that a curve would have except for a full querty keyboard. Also the 8130 has video already whereas the curve has to wait for 4.3 to be released.

    Re: Pearl vs. Curve

Then if I were you I would stick with the pearl. If you are already used to the suretype and like it then there is really no reason to switch. I personally love smaller phones so thats why I chose the pearl. I came from the Samsung Upstage, which is by far one of the smallest phones I have ever had and was using T9, to the pearl and had no issues at all I love the Pearl. It is a great phone and small enough for me. I just hate big phones.
