Not sure what you're specifically asking.

But if you want to watch movies from you Pearl you will need to first rip them, then convert them so your pearl can read them and then download them to your pearl.

Specifically you cannot connect your pearl to your TV.

Red, I posted this a few days back on ripping recorded TV shows for the Pearl.

As far as connecting a TV to the BB, I have never read or heard of such. Would be interesting though. I'm curious why one would need that though?

The graphics hardware on the pearl has no where near enough juice to drive any display larger than itself.

    Re: Pearl+TV?

we can connect the Pearl to a tv channel at movy.tv

we can do this now by using the hardware/3gp player on the Pearl 8100 and Pearl 8130 (evdo)

we do support live broadcasts through the 3gp player on the 8800 and 8300 series handsets.

You should not be connecting through a BES server to do this however.

The our playback will adjust to the display on the Pearl.

    Regards,

    movy.tv development team

You can either use WMP with the proper codecs or KM player to play movies on your pearl on your pc. The movies on your pearl are stored like a flash drive would store them anyway. The only problem is that since the movie is formatted for your pearl, the resolution will suffer once blown up to pc screen size.
