    Pearl Screen resolution?

Anyone know what the exact screen resolution is from the pearl? Seems 320x240 isn't quite right. I want to convert some of my photos using photoshop but seems like every resolution is just slightly off...

    Try 240x260

    That should do the trick.

320x240 would be for the 8700 series phones.

Thanks! 240x260 is correct... unfortunately! It's going to take some cropping and playing with photos to get them to look decent and not streched out!

How do I change pictures so they don't look distorted, and squashed? I want to use Picture ID, but it squashes everything. And when I try and changed to screen resolution, same thing happens.

    ???

fishcube, you need to use a photo program for that...like Photoshop, then you can change the image size.

But remember, if the image is smaller than 240x260, making it bigger will ruin the quality, it's always best to reduce the size of an image than to increase.

That is unless you have a rastor image/file, then you can increase or reduce it to any size and you'll never lose quality.

I'm a graphic designer, and you can PM me to get my email address and you can send me the picture, I'd be glad to help, it'll take seconds to do this....if you want of coarse
