I am new here, and I don't know how to start a new thread, so I am going to join here, I love Pearl & hate it at the same time. love it cause it is so advance and hate it because it mess up so easy.
Problem I am having, while talking to someone it just gets quiet, like I don't hear the other person, so I have to disconnect and call them again. Anyone please help me, before I break the phone.

    Sam, Welcome to PinStack.

To start a new thread, at the top and bottom of each Forum and Thread is a button, New Thread, Click on it and you will get a new thread.

For the Phone Problem, have you tried a Cold Reboot (Battery Out, wait 15-30 sec, Battery Back in)?

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with this problem or your BB.

Yes, I tried that few times, also I took Sim card out and put back in to make sure that it is place correctly. The whole issue, started when I was trying to install micro SD card, there is a special way to slide card in the latch and lock it, well since than I am having this problems.
I love the phone, and hate to lose it, I have to try many other phones before I decided to keep this one.

It can't be the service, I lived same place for many years and used other cell phones, never had any problem, and I got my Pearl in first week of Nov 06, worked fine till last couple of weeks.

if you don't latch the simcard in firmly, it will slide out, and goes under the battery. I have had this happen a couple times also. When you put your simcard in, make sure you have the latch firmly in place. What happens is the card slides out, and you lose the connection.
