Pearl linked to 8800 information PROBLEM

    All -

Thank you for the helpful information thus far, I have figured out a lot about the pearl due to this forum. The problem I am having now is I forgot that my 8800 was a cingular account and I sync'd the information (address book, task, memo, voice notes, etc...) with the Pearl 8100 with T-mobile.

Now I have two email icons (one yahoo account and one cingular blackberry email account) that I can not access information from. Using T-zones I can not see these email accounts and its fustrating me because they are tacking up space on the already small screen. If someone can explain to me how to delete these icons I will greatly appreciate it.

Not sure if you're runing two devices right now, confused on that part. However I do have an easy fix for too many icons on your home screen.

Highlight the icon you want to "get rid" of. Press the menu key to the left of the trackball. Scroll to "hide icon". Voila the icon is now hidden. However my question is...do you have to live devices w/ different carriers?

If you have email icons on the screen that are not supposed to be there, IE email accounts not set up on Tmobile service then the service books got transfered over to the phone. To get rid of that go into options, advanced options, service book and delete the service books associated with those email accounts. Should be 2 for each. Hope that helps clarify.
