Try ALT + EACE on both qwerty and Sure-Type devices.

    Hope this helps.

No one has managed to do that, except perhaps by creating a custom meter file for the Pearl custom themes. But I haven't even seen that one yet.

    Sorry

Is there a trick/shortcut for a soft reset on the Pearl?

    Thanks,

A "smaller" number meaning more signal strength. -80dBm is roughly equal to 10pW (picoWatts), -60dBm ~ 1000pW... so an increase of 10dBm (-80dBm -> -70dBm) can be thought of as a ten fold increase in signal power.
would that mean that -80 is worse than -70 or is -70 worse than -80?

-80 is worse than -70 as you are trying to reach the lowest number possible, which would be -1.... which i would think you could only get if you were standing ON a cell tower, lol!
