do you have a BlackBerry data plan?
edit: lol I should have refreshed the page before replying but sounds like your gift did not come with the needed BB data services.

mm10x -- who is your service provider? tmo has a couple of blackberry plans to choose from and att has one (29.99 with voice plan)

call em up, add the blackberry data plan. just a data or internet plan will not be sufficient

    welcome to pinstack

You have to sign up for it. I think it's $19.99 with T-mobile. Not sure about the other services.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ again like cherrie was talking about awhile ago, I am amazed at how many people get or give a BB with no data.

call your carrier or sign into your account online and select the BlackBerry plan. Your profile does not tell which carrier you have so we cannot tell you the name of the plan to look for.
if it's T-mobile it would be "BlackBerry Unlimited Add-on" for $19.99
if it's AT&T it would be "BlackBerry Personal" for $29.99
if it's Verizon it would be "Email and Web for Blackberry" for $29.99
