    If your PC is not set to show file extensions then all you will see is "vendor". As far as it being a Safari document, if you have Safari on the PC it may be set as the default viewer for xml files. Delete the file and empty the trash after that. Then start desktop manager, that should then show an update for the BB OS.

    Also, if you have the old OS on the PC, you will need to uninstall that first or the DM will not see the update.

    It's updaing right now! It said something about activating my radio, I remember doing this but not sure how. Help?

    Let it run through the update. It will reinstall the data from the backup it does. It will also take about 20-30 minutes and have about 10 minutes of nothing but a white screen. Just let it do it's job and it will reboot and come up with the home screen when done. Do not disconnect it while updating, wait until it is fully done.
