    OS Choices

I have a Pearl with T-Mobile and I've seen threads that talk about how great the operating system is with Italy...does anyone have any screen shots that I can see before making the decision to jump?

And is it really worth changing the OS?

Screen shots really won't help you since the different OS have the same look.

The only difference is that its icons instead of the list that pops up when you hit the menu button. Other than that its a tiny bit faster. There's a limit to your tunnel connections. The midi files will just keep playing. The video conversion is differnet. I think that's it. I'm a little drunk so if I missed anything I'm sorry.

You can always go back. I love the new OS...and I unlocked some other themes, which made it nice.

I like the TIM 1.66 OS as well. The only thing that bugs me about it day to day is that now when one of MY Favs calls/SMS/MMS me it won't pull up their name but rather +1xxxxxxxxxx. Other than that the little bugs don't bother me, and I love the improved SureType.

You can go back but its not as easy as just saying restore. You would have some extra steps and the backup/restore only saves calendar email address. Stuff like that. Not OS.

No - just remove the vendor.xml file. There are loads of threads in Pinstack with more details - if required
